One-on-one assessment and treatment for pelvic floor concerns — including bladder control, pelvic pain, and pregnancy and postpartum recovery — at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Pelvic health care looks at the muscles, joints and connective tissue of the pelvis, including the pelvic floor — the group of muscles that supports the bladder, bowel and reproductive organs. When these muscles are weak, overly tight or poorly coordinated, they can contribute to bladder leakage, urgency, pelvic pain and other symptoms.
Pelvic floor muscle training is a well-studied, first-line conservative treatment for urinary incontinence in women. Pelvic health care also commonly covers pregnancy-related pelvic pain, recovery after childbirth, and abdominal separation (diastasis recti). These concerns are common, and they can affect people of any gender.
Appointments are private and one-on-one. Your practitioner explains each part of the assessment before it happens, and you decide what you are comfortable with.
